Apogaea Volunteer Database

An open-source volunteer management system built for Apogaea Inc., the nonprofit that produces Colorado's regional Burning Man event. The system manages more than 1,000 volunteers across complex shift and role assignments, and integrates ODK Collect for offline field data gathering.

I designed and built the system from scratch in Python and Django. After my term as board president ended, I oversaw the system as Volunteer Database Lead. The project remains in active use and has earned 8 GitHub stars.
